KWO® CellFlon® blue

ePTFE gasket tape with fillers

KWO® CellFlon® blue is a gasket tape made from fibre-reinforced expanded PTFE with a modified structure. By adding the fibres and through the patented CellFlon® processing method the mechanical properties of the gasket tape are considerably improved.
The result is a substantially reduced cold-flow tendency, a clearly improved recovery and excellent sealing properties in systems with thermal cycling. The tape features a self-adhesive backing for easy installation. The used glue has a very high adhesive force.
KWO® CellFlon® blue gasket tape is especially designed for applications in high-temperature environments up to 180°C, for example heat exchangers, flue gas plants, compensators and pipe flanges.

  • high residual thickness at time of installation
  • small widening
  • higest recovery properties
  • excellent adaptability to all surfaces
  • excellent sealing characteristics, even in case of alternate loadings
  • 100 % expanded PTFE (ePTFE) with fillers
  • high mechanical properties
  • high chemical resistance
  • reduced cold flow and improved recovery
  • non-ageing
  • non-flammable

  • sealings for tanks
  • heat exchangers
  • apparatus engineering
  • machine housing
  • flue gas plants
  • proven by TA-Luft
  • gasket characteristics pursuant to DIN EN 13555
