Applications in the food processing industry are very demanding and require a reliable sealing with high performance gaskets. The seals must withstand for example intensive cleaning and sterilisation processes and meet at the same time all sealing requirements.
KWO^® products are easy to handle and fulfil most effectively all these conditions.

Most of KWO^® products don’t contain other materials than PTFE. The glues of the self-adhesive backing of these special gasket tapes are suitable for the use in food industry, being especially tested for this application.
KWO^® gasket tapes mostly conform to the EU directive EC 1935/2004 relating to food contact and meet the requirements of FDA regulation (US requirements).
